The route of the Floating Dutchman Amsterdam
The Floating Dutchman will pick you up from the Lovers Van Gogh Café at the Prins Hendrikkade opp. 25. This is opposite Amsterdam Central station and therefore easy to reach by train, bus, tram, metro and bicycle. In addition, there is a parking garage located right underneath the Lovers Van Gogh Café. This makes it extremely easy to reach.

Once aboard, the bus will depart towards the eastern part of the city centre. After a few minutes, the bus will arrive at the so called 'Splashzone' next to Science Centre NEMO. Here the most spectacular part of the tour, entering (splashing) into the canals, will take place.

Once the bus is in the water and it becomes a boat that will take you for a canal cruise through Amsterdams famous canals. This canal cruise will take you toward the Amstel River via the Nieuwe Herengracht. From the Amstel River you will turn left toward the famous Skinny Bridge or “Magere Brug” giving you a lovely view of the Royal Theatre Carre. Once you have passed under the Skinny Bridge the bus will turn around to head under the Blauwbrug sailing passed City Halll. Via the Oude Schans and the Oosterdok the bus will return to NEMO to exit the water and return to the Lovers Van Gogh Café.
